History: Castlevania Wiki

Personality: ((Discussion of depression, suicide, sexual coercion, slavery.))
Manipulative : Lenore is a skilled diplomat, but she has has no compunctions whatsoever about the tactics that she might use in order to get her way. In order to help her sisterhood convince Hector to help them even after Carmilla brutally beat him and enslaved him, Lenore befriends and seduces Hector, even getting him to swear loyalty to her (during sex) of his own volition. Once she’s achieved her aims, however, she informs him that he’s now her ‘pet’ and that he should be grateful for her protection and having the freedom to roam the castle. She has a different face with everyone, depending on what she wants from them. With her sisters, she hides her temper and makes herself as cooperative as possible, keeping peace between the sisters when other tempers flare and making sure that no one ever thinks of her as a threat. All too aware that she’s the most disposable of the sisterhood and that in times of active war there’s no need for her diplomacy, she makes herself into whatever the others want or need in order to ensure that she’s still essential, or at the very least harmless and pleasant to have around.

Melancholy : Lenore’s nature is that of a soft, bleeding heart wound around with thorns and partly crystallized, but at the core she still has that soft heart and emotional nature. She dresses like a medieval Irish princess, partly because of her background but more because she likes to idealize and romanticize, so she presents herself as a fairy-tale princess.
Extremely prone to loneliness and depression, Lenore has a tendency to exaggerate her own circumstances, and to see things as far more dramatic than they are. In Lenore’s last scene in the series, she is drinking wine with Hector and waxing poetic and melancholic about her circumstance. Even though she’s been spared and given comfortable quarters, good wine, plenty of books, a gorgeous view, and possibly other allowances (also given her abilities it seems improbable that she’d be able to be held captive for long), she decides that captivity is simply unbearable. Depressed and grieving the death of one of her sisters and the departure of two others, she walks outside to view the sunrise in order to commit suicide, because she’s depressive and dramatic and is unwilling to deal with life without her sisterhood to protect her.

Loving : Lenore’s best quality is her sweet, loving nature. In her ideal world, she sees herself as a sort of fairy tale princess caring for wounded animals and lost souls. Manipulative though she can be, she has a deep well of sweetness and gentleness to call upon in aid of winning hearts and persuading people. Carmilla fondly teases Lenore about her soft heart and the time that she found a spider with a broken leg and went to lengths to make a tiny splint and nurse it back to health. Lenore loves all animals, no matter whether they have fur, feathers, or scales, and she’s quick to see past outward physical appearances. Hurt/comfort is Lenore’s jam. Any physically or emotionally wounded creature is something she wants to nurse back to health and tame so that then it will be an adoring and loyal pet to her—which feeds into her less generous qualities, since she genuinely believes that things are better off as her ‘pets’, especially if she’s rescued them from an awful situation.

Amoral : This ties in with both her manipulative and her loving traits. Her amorality aspects in her manipulation in that she has no limits or compunctions when it comes to what she’s willing to do or say in order to achieve her ends. It ties in to her loving because no matter how truly she adores one of her pets, she never sees them as anything more than pets, and when a pet dies, it’s simply an empty husk to her. She’s lost enough loved ones that it’s made her entirely harden her heart to grief. When she grieves, as she does with Carmilla, it’s arguable as to whether she’s truly grieving Carmilla’s tragedy or whether she’s grieving the loss of her own comfort, safety, and the other advantages which the sisterhood provided her. More than once we see her pivot from gentle sweetness to harsh, cruel superiority once she’s already gotten what she wanted, such as her apathy toward Hector when she presents him ‘tamed’ to the sisterhood, or her callousness toward him when she tells him that he’s her pet and that’s what’s best for him.

Powers and Abilities: Vampire physiology, including immortality, superhuman strength and speed. She can disregard wounds easily and heal them, though she needs to regularly drink blood (preferably human) in order to maintain her vampire abilities.
Skilled combatant: Lenore is knowledgeable of very advanced hand-to-hand combat techniques which she employs during encounters in conjunction with her other abilities.
Bat swarming: Lenore has the ability to transform her body into a swarm of bats, which, besides providing a rapid mean of displacement and the ability to quickly gain a vantage point, also allows her to effortlessly escape an adversary's grasp. Lenore has also shown to primarily use this ability as a fast mode of travel around the castle of Styria.
Air mimicry: Lenore can transform her body into mist, allowing her to phase through certain obstacles (such as prison bars).

Inventory:
Sisterhood Ring, silver in the design of a one-eyed cracked mask
Binding Ring, set of two, enchanted with a binding geas. Lenore wears the ‘master’ ring and has one ‘slave’ ring in her possession. If someone states a promise to a wearer of a ‘master’ ring while wearing a ‘slave’ ring, such as “I will be loyal to you”, they will be held to their promise through magical compulsion from the ring, and only a wearer of a ‘master’ ring can remove an activated ‘slave’ ring.
